Sioux Falls To Launch Electric Vehicle Readiness Study

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The City of Sioux Falls is launching an electric vehicle readiness study. It’s one of the first steps in new framework to help guide sustainability in the city. Shawn Steward with Triple-A South Dakota says there are only about 85 charging stations across the state right now. He says that number needs to increase drastically, especially as the amount of electric vehicles on the road increases. An open house on the EV readiness study is planned for July 12th at the downtown Sioux Falls library.
