(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota AG Marty Jackley is joining 19 other attorney’s general in asking President-elect Donald Trump to secure the southern border. In a statement, Jackley said, “We support (the President-elect’s) plan to… stop the surge in illegal immigrants into the U.S.” Last year, Jackley fought a proposed federal rule that would give certain illegal immigrants legal rights, essentially treating them as legal citizens. A U.S. Federal Court in North Dakota ruled in favor of Jackley and other AG’s challenge.
