(Pierre, SD) — A disaster declaration is in place for northeastern and east-central South Dakota counties impacted by springtime flooding. The executive order was signed by Governor Noem on Friday for ten counties, including Brown and Codington. According to the Governor’s office, close to two-and-a-half million dollars in damages occurred those impacted areas.
