(Burlingame, CA) — Governor Kristi Noem is scheduled to speak at the California Republican Convention on Saturday. California Democrats have seized the opportunity to criticize her for sharing a story about shooting a dog she was unable to train for hunting. Chairman of the California Democratic Party Rusty Hicks says “You don’t need a public poll to know that a bad record on puppies or the truth won’t bring more people into your party.” A spokesperson for the state GOP defended Noem’s appearance and said that they look forward to the Governor joining them at the convention because she’s a proven leader compared to Governor Gavin Newsom.
