(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota Primary Election Day is here. Voters have the opportunity to decide on which Republican and Democratic candidates will represent their district in the November election. According to KELOLAND News, 26 House Republican races and 18 Senate Republican races are active for today’s primary. There are no Democratic House elections this year. All polls will be open from 7 a.m. this morning until 7 p.m. local time, and locations and information can be found on the Secretary of State’s Office website. South Dakota’s absentee voting is now closed after yesterday’s deadline.
