South Dakota RSV, COVID Cases Rising

(Pierre, SD) — The cold, flu, and other illnesses are all circulating again this time of year. Avera’s Dr. David Basel says RSV and COVID are on the rise in South Dakota right now, but it isn’t as bad as last year. RSV has come around heavily in the month of December the past couple of years. Local health experts say to keep an eye out for difficulty breathing, high fevers and dehydration as warning signs of something more serious.
