(Huron, SD) — The South Dakota State Fair has a “Trash to Treasure” contest going on. Trash cans can be picked up at their office until August 11th. Participants can paint them based on fair themes, like 4-H, FFA, or agriculture. State Fair manager Peggy Besch says the contest is a good way to “brighten up the fairgrounds.” Judging is September 1st, and the first-place winner will get 100 bucks.
