South Dakota To Have Regional Super Bowl Ad

(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota is going to have a regional Super Bowl ad to promote tourism in the state. Secretary of the South Dakota Department of Tourism Jim Hagen says it’s going to cost just under a million dollars. Hagen revealed yesterday the song “Absolutely (Story of a Girl)” will be used to play off the idea of one-hit wonder to show that South Dakota is not a one-hit wonder. The ad will be 30 and 60 second spots in markets like Kansas City, Denver, Omaha, Minneapolis, along with Rapid City and Sioux Falls.
