South Dakota To See An Increase In Charging Stations For Electric Vehicles

(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota is going to see an increase in charging stations for electric vehicles. AAA director of auto repair Bob Kazmierczak [[ Kaz – meer – zack ]] says there are currently 83 public EV charging stations in the state, and that equates to two-hundred-four charging ports. Chris Studer with East River Electric says that change could be on the horizon for those currently driving electric vehicles and those looking into the option. He added South Dakota is working on plans to site different fast chargers along interstates first and then working more into those rural areas over the next few years. An EV Expo will be taking place on September 19th at the W.H Lyon Fairgrounds.
