(Pierre, SD) — The freezing weather continues to hammer South Dakota entering the new week. A wind chill warning is in effect for the entire state through Tuesday, according to the Department of Public Safety. Officials are strongly urging folks to limit time outside because those wind chills will reach dangerous temps, possibly dropping to minus-40 degrees in some areas. Frostbite can happen in a matter of minutes if skin is exposed too long during these conditions.
