South Dakota’s Weekly Jobless Claims Rise

(Washington, DC) — Weekly jobless claims are down slightly in South Dakota. The U.S. Labor Department says the number of South Dakotans filing initial applications for unemployment benefits for the week ending July 15th was 112. That’s down from 133 the week before. Nationally, new claims fell by nine-thousand to 228-thousand.
