Special 4th Of July Ceremony Bridge Dedication in Sioux Falls

(Sioux Falls, SD) — A special 4th of July ceremony in Sioux Falls is reminding South Dakotans freedom isn’t free. Sioux Falls Native Robb Rolfing’s sacrifice was memorialized by dedicating a bridge in his honor. Lieutenant Governor Larry Rhoden says Rolfing was hit by a round of enemy fire and died at at age 29 on June 30th, 2007 while serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Robb’s bridge will be on I-229 over Minnesota Avenue, right by the entrance to the Yankton Trail Soccer fields.
