The handle shot up over 50 percent in 2023 compared to the year before, according to the South Dakota Commission on Gaming. That’s way higher than the numbers reported for traditional options like slot machines and table games. Deadwood’s overall gaming revenues went up more than 18 percent altogether in 2023, bringing in close to ten billion dollars in taxable adjusted gross revenues.
