(Brandon, SD) — More state aid is going towards housing developments. Yesterday, the South Dakota Housing Development Authority approved its latest package of state and federal grants and a low-interest state loan. The funds are set to back a proposed housing development in Brandon called the River Park project. This comes through a special program developed two years ago that involves a revolving hundred-million-dollar loan fund ready be used to subsidize infrastructure for workforce housing development. Total development costs for the project are close to 20-million dollars.
