Student Debt Decreasing For SDSU Grads

(Sioux Falls, SD) — South Dakota State University graduates are bucking the national trend related to student loan debt. SDSU graduates are continuing to have a declining amount of student debt. SDSU President Barry Dunn says a tuition freeze for the past three years is contributing to the trend, along with the university’s low price. Dunn says nearly a third of SDSU students graduated debt free in 2022. Those with student loans carried well under the nation average of 28-thousand dollars.
