Summit League Championships Enter Finals

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Summit League Basketball Championships are on to the finale at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls. Both the top-seeded South Dakota State men and women’s basketball teams enter championship Tuesday with a chance to shine on the big stage. The men ousted Number 4 seed St. Thomas, 59-49, in the semifinals yesterday. On the women’s side, the Jackrabbits prevailed in the battle of South Dakota with a 76-63 win over number 4 USD. The women tip off first today against North Dakota State at 3:30 p.m. for the title game. Following that, the Jacks men will be challenged by Number 7 Denver at 8:30 p.m. for the championship.
