Teen Charged In Shooting Death Of Another Teen In Rapid City

(Rapid City, SD) — A 17-year-old boy is facing charges in the shooting death of another teen in Rapid City. Isaiah Taha has been charged on several counts, including first-degree manslaughter and minor possession of a pistol in the death of 16-year-old Kade Potter. Police say on Friday night, Taha, Potter, and another person were sitting in a car near Deadwood Avenue and Omaha Street. That’s when Taha was handling a gun in the backseat of the car when it went off, hitter Potter who was in the front seat. The driver rushed Potter to an area hospital, where he died on Saturday.
