(Parker, SD) — Officials are having to move county and state offices out of the Turner County Courthouse because of worsening structural issues. First Circuit Court Administrator Kim Allison tells KELO they’ve had to move all court proceedings to Salem because the courtroom is not safe to be occupied. Court Services have been moved to Olivet — and the Clerk of Courts office hours in Parker have been reduced to two days a week. County officials say the sheriff’s department, State’s Attorney’s Office and other court-related services will be moving as soon as possible to a building on Main Street in Parker.
