(Florence, SD) — The South Dakota Department of Public Safety is investigating a crash that left two people dead Friday. It happened two miles east of Florence around three o’clock Friday afternoon. A 49-year-old man in a 2005 GMC Yukon crossed the centerline of Highway 20 and hit an oncoming vehicle. Both he and the 82-year-old driver of the vehicle he hit were killed.
