Two SD Men Charged With Fentanyl Distribution, Death

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Two South Dakota men are facing federal charges for allegedly distributing fentanyl resulting in the death of a minor. The U.S. Attorney’s Office along with the State Attorney General’s Office say a federal grand jury indicted 18-year-old Evan Nelson and 19-year-old Udda Kobaba late last week. The indictment reveals the pair intentionally distributed fentanyl to someone who died after using it last December. The two men face a minimum sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted.
