(Pierre, SD) — Businesses in Aberdeen and Watertown are receiving major investments from state funding. The Governor’s Office of Economic Development Board of Economic Development approved three loans at its monthly meeting. Watertown’s Dakota Automation Properties LLC was approved for a Revolving Economic Development and Initiative loan for nearly two-million dollars. They are also getting close to another million with a SD Work loan. Aberdeen’s Borns Group Incorporated, a professional mailing and marketing business, is getting over 500-thousand dollars through a SD Work loan for working capital. These financing moves are expected to create 14 full-time jobs, reflecting a capital investment of around six-and-a-half million dollars.
