(Aberdeen, SD) — There is no threat to the public after a shooting in Aberdeen yesterday just a couple blocks away from an elementary school. Two people were reportedly taken to the hospital. Police were called to a home on North Congress Street near OM Tiffany Elementary around 11 a.m. Officers found someone who had a gunshot wound. Investigators then also learned that a second person, who had also been shot, ran from the scene. A State Trooper found that person about ten minutes away. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
