(Vermillion, SD) — An investigation is underway in Vermillion after a deadly shooting. Authorities say it happened just before midnight late Tuesday. Vermillion Police Chief Crystal Brady spoke about it yesterday, but was unable to provide much information as neighbors just blocks away from Vermillion High School are wanting answers. When officers arrived, they found a man who died from a gunshot wound. Chief Brady said, “We can just tell the public there’s no threat,” adding authorities know who was involved and everyone is cooperating. So far, no arrests have been made.
