(Vermillion, SD) — The Vermillion Police Department is investigating an early-morning stabbing on Sunday. Officers received a 911 call just after 4 a.m. about a 47-year-old man who had been stabbed. When they arrived on scene, they found the man had died. Authorities say 20-year-old Chezayla Liggins was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Police say there are no other suspects involved and no danger to the public.
