(Clear Lake, SD) — The victim of a fatal crash last week in Deuel County has been identified. Authorities say 53-year-old Richard Allen Vant Hul of Sioux Falls was killed when the Chrysler Voyager he was driving on U.S. 212 collided head-on with a Ford Econoline, which had crossed into the Voyager’s lane to pass a vehicle. The crash happened last Tuesday near the town of Clear Lake. The Econoline driver’s injuries are described as serious, but not life-threatening.
