(Sioux Falls, SD) — More than 80 Vietnam veterans in South Dakota are being honored for their service. Senator Mike Rounds held a pinning ceremony at the Military Heritage Alliance this past Friday. Many of those vets didn’t receive much praise after the war. The lapel pins awarded are a lasting memento of the nation’s thanks to those who fought and served in Vietnam. Senator Rounds also visited Yankton and Rapid City, thanking and awarding more lapel pins to veterans.
