(Sioux Falls, SD) — Native American communities came together nationwide to host vigils for a South Dakota actor. Cole Brings Plenty who is best known for his role as “Pete Plenty Clouds” in “Yellowstone” spinoff “1923” was declared missing on March 31st and his body was found on April 5th in a wooded area outside Kansas City. Yesterday, a vigil was held at Van Eps Parks in downtown Sioux Falls for the 27-year-old who was also a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Organizer of the event, Shaina Yellowback says “the best thing we can do as indigenous people is to really bring more awareness for one another because these things shouldn’t be happening.” Brings Plenty’s funeral is set to take place Tuesday in Eagle Butte, South Dakota.
