Warning About PRIME Energy Drinks

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Lawmakers in Washington are calling on the FDA to investigate PRIME Energy drinks for their high caffeine levels. They claim the influencer-endorsed drink is considered “one of the summer’s hottest beverages for kids.” Sanford Health Pediatrics Specialist Dr. Bianca Johnson tells “Dakota News Now” the flashy marketing and famous promoters make children and teens easy targets. Prime was founded by YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI. A 12-ounce can contains 200 milligrams of caffeine, which is equal to about six cans of Coca-Cola or nearly two Red Bulls.
