Water Main Break Floods Downtown Sioux Falls

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Crews are responding to a major water main break flooding parts of downtown Sioux Falls. Officials have shut down 10th Street between Main and Dakota after reports of water running down the street across from the town hall. They believe it was probably corrosion that made the pipe weak and caused it to burst. Crews worked overnight to dig up concrete and replace the section of broken pipe, and the road is expected to reopen today.
