Weekend Winter Weather Expected In South Dakota

(Pierre, SD) — Much of South Dakota may be in for some snow this weekend. The entire northeast area of the state is already under a winter weather advisory, where places like Mobridge, Aberdeen and Sisseton are likely to receive a few inches of snow. There are going to be some stronger winds picking up this weekend with speeds projected of over 30 miles an hour in central areas. The high winds are supposed to bring another round of snow impacting western South Dakota today and sweeping across the state into Saturday and Sunday, bringing rain and snow to many cities. Wet and windy conditions are expected to die down after Monday.
