(Rapid City, SD) — Firefighters are working to contain a wildfire that has broken out west of Hermosa in Custer County. The fire was called in late yesterday morning. The blaze is burning off of Battle Creek Road. The so-called Battle Creek fire has burned nearly nine-and-a-half acres so far.
