Wind Advisory In Effect Wednesday Across SD

(Pierre, SD) — A wind advisory is being issued for most of South Dakota today. The National Weather Service says the advisory is expected to remain for the rest of the day. Winds from the northwest are projected to be coming in between 20 and 30 miles an hour with gusts of up to 50 miles an hour. Experts are warning South Dakotans to secure loose objects and avoid driving if possible, especially bigger vehicles like semis and RVs.
