(Sioux Falls, SD) — A Sioux Falls woman is admitting to being an accessory to a murder that happened last year. Taylor Crossly pleaded guilty in court yesterday as part of a deal with prosecutors. The 28-year-old was originally charged for the murder of 63-year-old Nigussie Bulti, who was killed back in July of 2023. However, Crossly’s actions didn’t result in Bulti but rather her friend, Morning Star Jewett. Crossly pleaded guilty to being an accessory, in exchange the state’s attorney’s office dropped all other charges, including murder, and also having to testify against Jewett. Prosecutors say Crossly admitted to stabbing Bulti with a pair of scissors before Jewett allegedly started beating Bulti and stomping on his head, leading to the man’s death.
