(Yankton, SD) — The Yankton mall is welcoming three new major retailers. Five Below, Hobby Lobby and Marshalls will open in the mall next year. The addition of the new tenants comes just over a year after the new owner bought the nearly vacant mall. Evans says bigger retailers are coming on board partly because of two-million dollars’ worth of parking lot improvements. The project was completed in partnership with Yankton’s community and economic development director, Dave Mingo. Each store has a ten-year lease with options to renew after.
