(Santa Clara, CA) — The 49ers are getting some good news on the status of Trey Lance. The quarterback was cleared to return from his ankle injury ahead of San Francisco’s OTAs. Lance had been recovering from right ankle surgery after suffering the season-ending injury in Week Two of last season against the Seattle Seahawks. The Niners are also waiting on the return of QB Brock Purdy, who suffered a right elbow injury in the NFC Championship game.
