Astros’ Ronel Blanco Throws Historic No-Hitter

(Houston, TX) — The first no-hitter of the 2024 Major League Baseball season belongs to Ronel Blanco after he led the Astros to a 10-0 win over the Toronto Blue Jays last night at Minute Maid Park. Blanco struck out seven batters without allowing a single hit on 105 total pitches. The 30-year-old right-hander pulled off the feat in just his eighth career start. It’s the 17th no-hitter in Astros history and the earliest no-hitter by date in MLB history.
