Bakhtiari: Packers Are Rebuilding

(Green Bay, WI) — A veteran player on the Packers says the team is in a rebuild. David Bakhtiari told the media, “It’s disrespectful to say you’re not rebuilding off a Hall of Fame quarterback. It was disrespectful to say you weren’t rebuilding off of Brett Favre when you moved on to Aaron.” The left tackle reiterated that a rebuild doesn’t mean the team will have a losing season. Bakhtiari referenced the Seahawks last season after moving on from Russell Wilson. With Geno Smith under center, Seattle finished 9-and-8 and lost to the 49ers in the Wild Card round.
