Bears Extend TE Kmet

(Lake Forest, IL) — Cole Kmet will be a Bear for the next half-decade. The tight end signed a four-year extension with the Bears on Wednesday. The deal is reportedly worth 50-million dollars with just over 32-million dollars guaranteed. Kmet entered training camp heading into the final year of his rookie contract. He caught 50 passes for 544 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
