Brewers Slip Past Twins For Fourth Straight Win

(Milwaukee, WI) — The Brewers extended their early season winning streak after slipping past the Twins 3-2 in Milwaukee. Christian Yelich slugged his second homer of the season with a third-inning solo shot. Brice Turang and Jackson Chourio also drove in runs. Elvis Peguero earned the win after giving up an unearned run over two innings of relief, while Abner Uribe notched his third save of the year. Milwaukee is now 4-and-0.

Louie Varland was charged with the loss after allowing three runs on six hits in four innings, while Matt Wallner and Christian Vazquez each drove in a run. The 2-and-2 Twins send Chris Paddack to the mound against the Brewers this afternoon. The Twins are 2-and-2 on the young season.
