(Minneapolis, MN) — Twins standout shortstop Carlos Correa is not expected to join the team for the weekend series against Guardians at Target Field. He is recovering from a foot injury. Twins manager Rocco Baldelli says Correa is increasing his running but has yet to start sprinting. The All-Star infielder is expected to go on a rehab assignment. Correa has not played since July 12 and has batted .308 with 13 home runs, and 47 RBI in 75 games this season.
