(Glendale, AZ) — The College Football Playoff quarterfinals begin tonight. Number six Penn State will take on number three Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. The winner will advance to the Orange Bowl on January 9th and will play either Notre Dame or Georgia.
Elsewhere in non-playoff bowl games, number eleven Alabama will take on Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa at noon, while the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl will feature Louisville against Washington in El Paso at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m., number 15 South Carolina will face off against number 20 Illinois in the Cheez It Citrus Bowl in Orlando. Lastly, Baylor will go up against LSU in the Kinder’s Texas Bowl in Houston at 3:30 p.m.
