(Kansas City, MO) — The Chiefs are reuniting with a former member of their running back room. Kansas City is signing veteran tailback Kareem Hunt to the practice squad six years after releasing him in the middle of the season. The Chiefs were looking to bolster their backfield unit after starter Isiah Pacheco suffered a broken fibula in Week Two. The 29-year-old Hunt was selected by Kansas City in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Toledo. The one-time Pro Bowler has rushed for 4,436 yards and 40 touchdowns, while totaling 1,890 receiving yards and 17 TDs through 91 career games played.
