College Football Playoff Committee Comments On FSU Exclusion

(Washington, DC) — The College Football Playoff committee says it’s confident it made the right decision after it shut out undefeated Florida State from the playoffs. The committee responded on Friday after Senator and former Governor Rick Scott demanded to know why Florida was left out of the playoffs despite finishing the year 13-0 and winning an ACC title. Playoff chief Bill Hancock said one reason FSU was excluded was because of the season-ending leg injury of their star quarterback Jordan Travis. Hancock said FSU “is not the same team” without Travis, which caused them to believe there were four teams that should rank higher.
