College World Series Recap

(Omaha, NE) — The 2023 Men’s College World Series champion will be crowned on Monday night. The second-seeded Florida Gators crushed the fifth-seeded LSU Tigers 24-4 in Game Two of the College World Series championship. Wyatt Langford hit one home run and drove-in a game-high six runs, while Jac Caglianone and Ty Evans both homered twice and totaled five RBI. The 24 runs scored were a MCWS record for a single game. LSU starter Nate Ackenhausen was charged the loss after letting the Tigers fall behind early. LSU and Florida will meet at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha on Monday night for the decisive Game Three.
