Cousins Not Looking For In-Season Extension

(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings could be entering the final year of their Kirk Cousins era. The Vikings quarterback told reporters yesterday that he doesn’t expect to negotiate for a new deal until next offseason. Cousins added that a contract extension with the team isn’t completely off the table, but he wants to “focus on this season and the job to do right now.” Cousins and the Vikings had their final day of mandatory mini-camp yesterday, and they’ll return to TCO Performance Center for training camp next month.
