Duke Pulls Off Upset Of Ninth-Ranked Clemson

(Durham, NC) — The Duke Blue Devils have knocked off one of college football’s top-ranked teams. Duke upset ninth-ranked Clemson 28-7 to cap off Week One of the regular season. Riley Leonard completed 17-of-33 passes for 175 yards, while adding 98 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Jaquez Moore and Jordan Waters also found the end zone for Duke on TD runs. The win marks Duke’s first victory over Clemson since 2004. Clemson QB Cade Klubnik passed for 209 yards, one touchdown and an interception in the losing effort. The Tigers lost two fumbles as they dropped to oh-and-1.
