Edwards Leads Wolves Comeback Win Over Wizards

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves overcame an ugly first quarter to beat the Washington Wizards 130-121 at the Target Center. Minnesota trailed by as many as 21 points in the first and allowed 44 points in the frame. However, Anthony Edwards turned up the heat the rest of the way to lead Minnesota to a come-from-behind win. Edwards poured in 51 points during the victory, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker had 23 off the bench. Minnesota is still tied with Denver for first place in the West at 55-and-24. The Wolves take on Denver tonight. In other team news, Karl-Anthony Towns was cleared for full-contact action yesterday.
