(Flowery Branch, GA) — The Falcons have completed an interview with arguably the greatest head coach of all time. The team announced on Monday that they’ve met with Bill Belichick about their open head coaching position. The six-time Super Bowl champion was let go by the New England Patriots last week after spending 24 seasons in Foxboro. The Pats went 4-and-13 this year and have missed the playoffs in three out of the last four seasons. Atlanta is looking for a new head coach after firing Arthur Smith.
Jim Harbaugh could be returning to the NFL sideline as well. The Los Angeles Chargers announced they completed an interview with the current Michigan head coach on Monday. Harbaugh and the Wolverines defeated Washington 34-13 in the College Football Playoff National Championship game last week. The 60-year-old was hired by Michigan after serving as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014. Harbaugh led the Niners to a 44-19-and-1 record over his four seasons with the team.
