Fast Start Leads Wild Past Blackhawks

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild scored three goals in the first period of a 4-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at the Xcel Energy Center. Marco Rossi scored twice in the opening frame, and Mats Zuccarello also lit the lamp. Matt Boldy added a goal in the second period to give Minnesota a four-goal lead. The Wild are on a three-game winning streak. Minnesota remains in seventh place in the Central Division with 20 points and a n 8-10-and-4 record. The Wild visit Calgary tomorrow night.
