Former NFL QB Mallett Drowns In Florida

(Undated) — The football world is mourning the loss of a former NFL quarterback. According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Ryan Mallett drowned in Florida. He was 35. Mallett was entering his second season as the head coach at White Hall High School in Arkansas. The New England Patriots drafted Mallet in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Arkansas. He also spent time with the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens. His final season was 2017. Mallett played 21 career games with eight starts, passing for 1,835 yards with nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
